Job Description:

As an Associate QA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing and analysis. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with limited experience who are passionate about software quality and eager to learn and grow in the field of quality assurance.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/SE.
  • Basic understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with manual testing techniques and tools.
  • Experience with scripting languages or basic programming knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify and document issues accurately.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills for documenting test cases and reporting issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Previous internships or hands-on experience in software testing or QA is advantageous.
  • Experience with testing tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and basic familiarity with automated testing tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute test cases and scripts based on test plans.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure software quality.
  • Identify, document, and report bugs and issues found during testing.
  • Work with developers to reproduce issues and ensure they are resolved.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Document test results and ensure accurate reporting of test coverage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to understand requirements and provide feedback.
  • Participate in review meetings and provide insights on quality-related aspects.
