Storekeeper

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Ensure that all stock is properly labeled, stored, and organized for easy access.
• Issue materials and products to departments or customers as requested.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in manual or computerized systems.
• Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies to management.
• Monitor stock levels and initiate requisitions or purchase requests for replenishment.
• Ensure that goods are stored safely to prevent damage, spoilage, or loss.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store or warehouse area.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and production departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare inventory reports, delivery notes, and other documentation as required.
• Follow safety and security procedures for handling and storing materials.
• Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Storekeeper, Inventory Clerk, or Warehouse Assistant.
• Knowledge of inventory management and record-keeping practices.
• Familiarity with storekeeping and warehouse management software (e.g., ERP, SAP, or MS Excel).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift or move heavy items when necessary.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or logistics training is an advantage.
