Web Developer – WordPress & Shopify Specialist

Location: Onsite – Night Shift

Job Overview

Arrak Consulting is looking for a Web Developer with strong experience managing and optimizing websites on WordPress and Shopify platforms . This role is perfect for someone who understands how to use existing tools, themes, plugins, and page builders to maintain and enhance professional websites.

Key Responsibilities

Website Management (WordPress & Shopify)

● Create, edit, and manage website content and layouts

● Customize themes using page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery, Shopify theme editor)

● Manage plugins, apps, and integrations

● Optimize product and landing pages for user experience and performance

E-Commerce Management

● Add/update products, categories, and banners on Shopify

● Ensure accurate product descriptions, images, and pricing

● Support sales campaigns and promotional updates

Site Optimization & Maintenance

● Improve page speed and user experience using available tools

● Perform regular updates and troubleshoot basic plugin/app issues

● Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and SEO-ready

Team Collaboration

● Work closely with designers, content creators, and marketing team

● Follow campaign timelines and complete assigned web tasks on schedule

● Suggest improvements based on platform best practices

Required Qualifications

● Minimum 2 years of experience with WordPress and Shopify

● Strong understanding of page builders, themes, and plugins/apps, frameworks

● Ability to manage online stores and website content

● Familiarity with basic SEO best practices and responsive design

● Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and time management

● Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with a team

● Ability to make changes using custom code

● Ability to work night shifts and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

● Proficiency in English language (Written & verbal)

● Willing To Travel Internationally (When required)

Education Requirement

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field

(Diploma holders with strong hands-on experience will also be considered.)

Bonus Skills (Preferred but not required)

● Experience with tools like Canva, Google Analytics, or Meta Pixel

● Understanding of e-commerce marketing (email popups, product filters, etc.)

● Basic image editing skills (e.g., resizing, compression)

Familiarity with DevOps practices for website deployment, updates, or version control

Shift Details:

This position requires availability during the night shift to support store operations and reporting needs.

Timings : Night shift

Working days: 6 days a week
