Position: Merchandiser – Knitwear & Apparel (Kids Western Category + Denim, Non-Denim, Suiting & Wovens)

Location: Karachi - Site Area

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle end-to-end merchandising for Kids Western Knitwear and additional categories (Denim, Non-Denim, Suiting, Woven & Knitting).
  • Communicate with international buyers for design approvals, costing, sampling, order confirmations, and ongoing updates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (design, product development, procurement, production, and quality assurance) to ensure timely order execution.
  • Develop and monitor Time & Action (T&A) calendars for all categories.
  • Source fabrics, trims, and accessories; maintain vendor relationships for multiple product lines.
  • Negotiate pricing and costing with buyers and suppliers to ensure profitability.
  • Monitor production flow, identify risks, and take corrective action for delays or quality concerns.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance, safety standards, and buyer specifications across all categories.
  • Track margins and prepare detailed order status reports for management review.
  • Provide trend insights for Kids and Western categories across knitwear and woven lines.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Textile/Fashion/Apparel Merchandising or related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience in merchandising (Knitwear, Denim, Woven, Suiting).
  • Strong knowledge of knitted and woven fabrics, trims, and production processes.
  • Familiarity with Kids wear compliance and international buyer standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and buyer management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/merchandising systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs150, Rs250,000.00 per month
