About the Role

We are looking for a Junior WordPress Developer who is passionate about web development and eager to learn and grow. You will work closely with our development and design teams to build, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites. This role is perfect for someone who has a basic understanding of WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and wants to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and customizing WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Implement new features, functionalities, and design changes based on project needs.
  • Maintain, update, and troubleshoot existing WordPress websites.
  • Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO best practices.
  • Collaborate with designers to convert Figma/PSD designs into functional WordPress pages.
  • Test websites across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices.
  • Stay updated with the latest WordPress updates, trends, and security practices.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of
    WordPress CMS
    (themes, plugins, settings).
  • Familiarity with
    HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
    .
  • Understanding of
    responsive design
    and mobile-first development.
  • Good problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to have skills

  • Experience with
    Elementor, Divi, or other page builders
    .
  • Understanding of
    WooCommerce
    for e-commerce websites.
  • Basic knowledge of
    SEO best practices
    .
