Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and creative
Video Editor
to join our team and bring visual stories to life. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, a deep understanding of storytelling techniques, and proficiency in video editing software. You will work closely with the content and marketing teams to produce high-quality videos that engage, inform, and inspire our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit raw footage into polished, engaging video content for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
  • Add music, dialogue, graphics, effects, and subtitles as needed
  • Collaborate with directors, producers, and content creators to achieve the desired vision
  • Manage and organize media assets, including footage, sound, and graphics
  • Ensure video quality, pacing, and continuity meet brand standards
  • Stay updated on video trends and incorporate innovative editing techniques
  • Optimize videos for different platforms and screen formats
  • Review and implement feedback from team members or clients

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role
  • Proficiency with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
  • Familiarity with motion graphics and animation tools (e.g., After Effects)
  • Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
  • Knowledge of social media video formats and best practices
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A creative mindset with attention to detail
  • A strong portfolio or reel demonstrating previous work

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

  • Experience with color grading and audio editing
  • Background in cinematography or photography
  • Knowledge of YouTube SEO and content strategy
  • Basic graphic design skills
