Manager Finance and Tax

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee
  tax compliance
  including monthly, quarterly, and annual
  sales tax returns
  filing.
• Manage and monitor
  input tax adjustments
  and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
• Handle
  Letters of Credit (LCs)
  including opening, monitoring, and settlement with banks.
• Ensure accurate tax reconciliations between
  GL, input/output tax, and withholding taxes
  .
• Lead
  internal and external audits
  related to taxation and finance.
• Supervise
  SAP-based accounting and reporting
  for taxation, payables, receivables, and reconciliations.
• Prepare
  annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections
  in collaboration with management.
• Track
  budget vs. actual performance
  , identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide advisory support to management regarding
  tax planning, budgeting, and financial optimization
  .
• Stay updated with changes in
  tax laws, FBR notifications, and SROs
  , and ensure company compliance.
• Coordinate with banks, tax authorities, and consultants when required.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of
  Sales Tax, Income Tax, and Corporate Tax
  in Pakistan.
• Hands-on experience with
  LCs
  and import/export-related financial documentation.
• Proficiency in SAP (FI/CO module preferred)
  – able to generate reports, reconcile data, and manage transactions.
• Expertise in
  budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
  .
• Analytical skills to handle
  input-output reconciliations
  and performance tracking.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• CA (Finalist/Qualified) / ACCA / ICMA / MBA (Finance)
  .
• 5–7 years of experience in
  finance, taxation, and budgeting
  (preferably in manufacturing/packaging sector).
• Prior
  SAP ERP experience
  is mandatory.
• Experience dealing with
  FBR, SRB, and tax audits
  .
