Job Title: Electrician

Location: Landhi Industrial area

Working Hours: 12 hours shift with weekly rotational shift day and night (8 hours + 4 hours over time)

Job Summary:

The Industrial Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting. The role ensures all electrical infrastructure is compliant with safety and operational standards to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment, including motors, sensors, transformers, control panels, and switchgear.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using testing tools and schematics.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on all electrical components.
• Install and maintain lighting, wiring, and power distribution systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics.
• Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes, safety regulations, and internal company standards.
• Collaborate with mechanical, production, and automation teams during breakdowns and projects.
• Document work performed and maintain maintenance logs and records.
• Monitor and maintain energy consumption for cost-efficiency and sustainability.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electrical / Electronics or relevant trade certification.
• Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience in an industrial environment (manufacturing, FMCG, textile, etc.).
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of industrial power systems, PLCs, VFDs, control panels.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot using multimeters and other tools.
• Basic computer skills (for maintenance records).
• Knowledge of safety procedures and Lockout/Tagout practices.
• Physical Fitness: Must be physically capable of working in factory conditions, including climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces.

Preferred:

• Experience with automation systems and sensors.
• Knowledge of energy-saving practices and sustainable electrical solutions.
