Position Overview:
The Delivery Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation and management of delivery services across multiple locations within a designated region. This role involves coordinating with local store managers, delivery drivers, and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and driving continuous improvement in delivery operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Delivery Operations Management:
- Supervise and manage delivery operations across multiple fast-food outlets within the region.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders, maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer service.
- Coordinate with store managers to streamline delivery processes and resolve any operational issues.
2. Team Leadership:
- Train, and manage a team of delivery drivers.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to drivers.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
3. Logistics and Route Optimization:
- Develop and implement efficient delivery routes to minimize delivery times and fuel consumption.
- Utilize delivery management software to monitor and optimize delivery operations.
- Ensure drivers adhere to established routes and schedules.
4. Customer Service:
- Address and resolve customer complaints and issues related to delivery services.
- Implement customer feedback mechanisms to continuously improve the delivery experience.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
5. Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all delivery operations comply with company policies, local regulations, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular safety training and audits to ensure drivers adhere to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, incidents, and compliance-related activities.
6. Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular reports on delivery performance metrics to the Regional Operations Manager.
- Analyze delivery data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and implement action plans based on data analysis to enhance delivery operations.
7. Budget Management:
- Manage the regional delivery budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Monitor expenses related to delivery vehicles, fuel, and maintenance.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in delivery operations or logistics, preferably in the fast food or retail industry.
- Proven experience in managing teams and optimizing delivery routes.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in delivery management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
