Role: Technical Project Manager

Location: Hyderabad

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a background in delivering banking development and implementation projects and able to understand Java, coding, and database concepts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering high-impact projects within our Java-based development environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, technical proficiency in leading software development projects from conception to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate resources, both internal and external, to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Track project progress and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular project meetings and provide leadership and guidance to project team members.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and priorities.
  • Drive continuous improvement by implementing best practices and process enhancements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong Technical background and software development methodologies.
  • Experience managing Agile/Scrum projects.
  • Banking domain experience will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • PMP or Agile certification is a plus.

Relevant Experience: 12+ years

Areas of Expertise: Project management (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall), software development lifecycle, Java concepts, database management, banking domain knowledge, team leadership, resource planning, risk management, budgeting, scheduling, stakeholder communication, process improvement, PMP and Agile methodologies.
