Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in performing QA automation testing.
  • Strong background in at least three testing methods: Integration testing, Feature/Functional testing, Bug testing, Penetration Testing Regression testing, System testing, Performance testing, and Ad-hoc testing.
  • Certification in Ethical Hacking
  • Expertise in automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, Cucumber, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Deep knowledge of test automation patterns, techniques, and anti-patterns.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable and maintainable automation frameworks.
  • Good experience in assessing software quality through manual and automated testing.
  • Defining and executing product test plans.
  • Great attention to detail and measuring the quality of the features released. Interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process.
  • Creating test environments.
  • Validate test coverage, prepare bug reports, and test execution reports.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (SCRUM) and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Strong programming skills in Java.
  • A passion for technology, learning, and problem-solving.
  • Able to work in and manage junior resources (if required).
  • The ability to prioritize and remain calm under pressure.

Nice To Haves:

  • Working knowledge of Cucumber.
  • Experience with analyzing thread safety and race conditions, parallelism, synchronization, and locking, including between threads, between machines in a cluster, and in the database, including optimistic and pessimistic locking.
  • Hands-on experience with Business-Driven Development (BDD), Test Driven Development (TDD), and writing unit tests.
  • Any QA or related certification
