Assistant Manager Production

This position is responsible for ensuring that productions are efficiently & effectively (in terms of cost) scheduled on the basis of Sales Forecast/General Sales Trend/Seasonal requirements and communicate the plans or changes to both Production, Sales and Management.

Production Planning

  1. Plan and prioritize operations as per customer demand/orders and ensure maximum production is delivered with minimum delay.

  2. Determine equipment and Packing materials needed to cover production demand.

  3. Coordinate production workflow for multiple machines i.e. Printing and Slitting Machines.

  4. Coordinate material movement between supply chain and production activities.

  5. Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption

  6. Draw up production schedule and prioritize job-orders for production optimization.

  7. Obtain output information (number of finished labels, number of rejected labels etc). Prepare and submit status and performance reports Planning Manager and Management.

  8. Fulfill delivery commitments by coordinating scheduling activities with the production team

  9. Communicate delivery dates to Sales and ensure delivery of FGL's in a timely manner.

Reporting & SAP

  1. Complete status reports for production progress (Work Orders), work in process, and packing of FGL's.

  2. Update relevant Material Master, Production Plan and Production Planning Sheets/ Report.

Operational Efficiency

  1. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and cost reduction.

  2. Plan effectively to reduce wastages (optimizing trims and sequential color changes at Printing Machines and slitting machines)

  3. Channelize continual improvement techniques to make processes more efficient and lower costs at the shop floor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs150,000.00 per month
