Role Description

Thi
s is an on-site, full-time role for an Accountant located in Dubai. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable and accounts receivable data, managing payroll, preparing financial reports, and reconciling bank statements. They will also assist with tax filings, compliance, and audit preparations as needed.
The Accountant will be responsible for the full accounting cycle, ensuring accuracy, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping and daily financial records
  • Manage invoices, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payables
  • Reconcile bank accounts and handle payments and deposits
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial reports
  • Oversee VAT filings, returns, and compliance
  • Assist with Corporate Tax calculations and submissions
  • Manage payroll, petty cash, and expense controls
  • Support audit preparations and coordinate with auditors and vendors

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience in the UAE
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, Tally, or Zoho Books
  • Sound understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus
