Data Entry Operator — Paid Internship (3–4 months)

Location: Karachi — Office-based

Duration: 3 to 4 months (fixed-term)

Working Hours: Monday – Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Type: Paid internship (monthly stipend)

Role Summary

This short-term paid internship is created to clear and correct accumulated data-entry backlog in our office systems. The role is ideal for young people starting their careers — fresh graduates, students finishing their degree, or applicants with Intermediate qualifications. No prior data-entry or software experience is required; full on-the-job training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter, update and verify information into company databases and spreadsheets accurately.
  • Clean up and organise existing records to improve data quality and consistency.
  • Check for and correct incomplete or incorrect records.
  • Scan, digitise and file documents as directed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information.
  • Prepare simple daily progress updates for the supervisor and report task completion.
  • Coordinate with office staff to obtain missing data or clarifications.
  • Follow instructions, meet daily targets and help complete the backlog within the internship period.

Requirements

  • Education: Intermediate (FA/FSc/ICS/Commerce) or higher. Students currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. A Bachelor's degree is not compulsory.
  • Experience: No prior data-entry experience required — beginners welcome.
  • Skills & Attributes:
  • Basic computer familiarity is helpful but not mandatory (training provided).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work full-time office hours.
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
  • Honest and able to handle confidential information.
  • Other: Must be available for the full internship period and able to commit to the stated working hours.

Training & Support

Selected interns will receive detailed on-the-job training and continuous supervision. Tasks will be explained clearly and support provided throughout the internship so you can learn while contributing.
