Job Purpose

• Maintaining OSS Operations for seamless services ensuring the optimal functionality and reliability of critical backend services, processes & procedures including ES, MySQL, Linux, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
• Enhanc application efficiency by implementing automation and monitoring best practices, reducing manual interventions, and streamlining maintenance tasks.

Job Responsibilities

• Establish intelligent system level controls, perform routine audit, health checks and configure automated alerts for operational issues and help minimizing the system down-time by taking proactive measures
• Ensure timely data and application-level backups of OSS systems
• Address all risks and vulnerabilities identified in OSS systems and take necessary measures to mitigate the same while following data and information security policies
• Performing analysis and making business decisions on maintenance activities of servers, virtual machines, databases and network connectivity; identifying and gives execution plan for maintenance
• Timely identifying and addressing any changes caused by upgrades at vendor end applications
• Taking all possible measures to ensure elimination of unaware changes in network operations environment
• Execute routine maintenance tasks such as backups, updates, patches, and security checks on the specified backend services as required, ensuring system reliability
• Performing data integrity and accuracy checks for inventory, configuration and alarms data taking necessary measures to settle down issues with vendors and reduce impacts by necessary synchronizations
• Participating in updating and revising policies, procedures, technical reports, documentation and internal training material to keep operations aligned with company strategy and changing business needs
• Maintaining detailed technical documentation and user manuals for all the OSS applications by using flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code

Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills): Education:

• Should have Bachelor's Degree in Telecom / Computer Science / Information Technology.

Work Experience

• Should have 2-3 years of relevant work experience.

• Strong grip on NMS and NBI services knowledge
• Preferred to have experience with handling Web Services, APIs and associated Orchestrations/Integrations
