Key Responsibilities

1. Cross-Departmental Training

  • Trains in all areas of the Finance Department to provide coverage during absences.
  • Completes a structured development plan within the department, with quarterly progress assessments.

2. Daily Operations Support

  • Assists with the day-to-day functions of the Accounting Department, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to best practices.
  • Provides clerical and administrative support to the accounting team, maintaining organized and accurate financial records.

3. Reporting and Compliance

  • Assists in preparing monthly financial reports in corporate formats, aligning with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and USALI standards.
  • Ensures all accounting transactions are processed accurately and timely.
  • Maintains and organizes accounting files and supporting documentation for audits and internal reviews.

4. Policy, Systems & Software Proficiency

  • Demonstrates a commitment to learning all accounting roles and mastering relevant software systems, including Opera, SUN System, ADACO and Birchstreet.
  • Ensures all accounting entries comply with Amanyara internal control procedures and financial policies.

5. Interdepartmental Collaboration

  • Maintains effective relationships with all hotel departments to promote collaboration, efficiency, and accurate financial communication.

6. Professional Conduct

  • Consistently upholds a high standard of professionalism in line with the Amanyara brand's values.
  • Maintains confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
