About the Project

Join the team of an innovative (Raspberry Pi 4/5, Rockchip RK3588), FPGA integration, and advanced features like 4K/3D displays, cellular connectivity, and modular expandability.

Role Overview

We need a skilled Embedded/Linux Engineer to handle kernel-level development, device tree configuration, and CMS optimization for our multi-SKU product line featuring different display sizes (4", 5.5", 6", 7") and resolutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure and optimize Linux kernel for Raspberry Pi CM5 and Rockchip RK3588(S)

- Create and maintain device tree configurations for multiple display panels (MIPI DSI)

- Implement driver support for custom hardware (FPGA, NPU, display controllers)

- Optimize power management and thermal management systems

- Develop and tune CMS (Color Management System) for OLED/IPS panels

- Enable hardware features: VRR, HDR, 3D displays, multi-touch

- Integrate cellular modems (4G/5G), WiFi 6E/7, Bluetooth 5.0+

- Configure USB-C/USB4/Thunderbolt protocols

Key Deliverables

- Custom Linux kernel builds with optimized device drivers

- Device tree configurations for all SKU variants

- Power management profiles and thermal optimization

- Display driver integration (GT5688, CYMA568, SN65DSI86)

- Documentation for kernel configuration and build process

Required Qualifications

- 3+ years embedded Linux development experience

- Strong C/C++ programming skills

- Deep understanding of Linux kernel architecture and device drivers

- Experience with device tree configuration and compilation

- Knowledge of MIPI DSI/CSI interfaces

- Proficiency with ARM architecture (ARM Cortex)

- Experience with bootloaders (U-Boot, GRUB)

Preferred Qualifications

- Raspberry Pi Compute Module development experience

- Rockchip SoC experience (RK3588/RK3588S)

- Display controller integration (DSI to eDP/HDMI converters)

- Power management IC (PMIC) configuration

- FPGA integration experience (Intel Cyclone V)

- Real-time Linux (PREEMPT_RT) experience
