Linen Officer

Job Description:

• Manage daily hospital linen and laundry operations.
• Ensure adequate supply of clean linen for all departments.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and infection control.
• Oversee inventory management, distribution, and replacement of linens.
• Coordinate with outsourced laundry services and monitor performance.
• Implement procedures for handling and disposing of contaminated linens.
• Conduct regular quality checks on washed linen.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
• Train and guide staff to maintain operational efficiency.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.

Job Specifications:

• Intermediate or Graduate.
• Background in healthcare or hospitality management preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of infection control and hygiene standards is an advantage.
