Senior Electrician

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools.
• Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure electrical systems are in good working order.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.
• Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and equipment usage.
• Coordinate with supervisors for preventive maintenance schedules.
• Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns or emergencies.
• Support other maintenance staff in mechanical or HVAC-related issues when required.
• Recommend improvements in electrical systems for better efficiency and energy savings.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Technology or equivalent.
• Experience: 2–3 years of experience in industrial or commercial electrical maintenance.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and wiring.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
• Hands-on experience with electrical tools and safety equipment.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
