About the role

We are looking for a Laravel developer who has strong fundamentals and is also capable of leveraging AI tools / AI workflows to improve speed, accuracy and efficiency in development. You don't need to be an AI researcher… but you must be someone who knows HOW to use AI in practical coding work — prompts, debugging using AI, code refactoring, rapid prototyping, generating test cases etc.

Responsibilities

  • Develop & maintain backend services / APIs using Laravel ecosystem
  • Work with MySQL + Eloquent ORM properly (relationships, query optimization basics)
  • Work with queues, events, jobs & schedules in Laravel
  • Integrate with external APIs (REST / OAuth mostly)
  • Write clean & structured code following Laravel best practices
  • Use AI tools to accelerate coding, debugging & documentation
  • Collaborate with FE devs + product team to ship fast iterative releases
  • Basic knowledge of Git workflows / branches

Nice to have (not mandatory)

  • Livewire / Inertia / Vue exposure
  • Prompt engineering basics (for AI based coding)
  • VectorDB understanding (high level concept only)
  • Basic knowledge of LLM based API integrations (OpenAI / Claude etc)
