Xray Technician

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Xray Technician located in Rawalpindi. The Xray Technician will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray equipment. Day-to-day tasks include preparing patients for X-rays, ensuring patient safety through appropriate radiation safety measures, positioning patients correctly, and capturing high-quality radiographic images. Additionally, the Xray Technician will maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Radiation Safety practices and protocols
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Experience in the field of Radiology and Radiologic Technology
• Understanding of medical terminology and practices in Medicine
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
• Completed accredited program in Radiologic Technology or related field
