MedTech is a fast-growing company that builds custom EMT clinical kits, uniforms, and training supplies for EMS students and schools across the U.S. Our mission is simple: to be the place that cares the most about students. From their first Google search about EMT school to their first day in clinicals, we support their journey with resources, gear, and guidance.

The Role

We're looking for a full-time Content Creator to fuel our student-facing content engine. This role combines long-form blog writing (SEO-driven, educational, helpful) with short-form content creation for social media (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn). The right person knows how to connect with students, turn research into practical guides, and create engaging posts that drive awareness of MedTech kits.

Key ResponsibilitiesBlog Writing & SEO Content

  • Write blogs per week around EMS student life, prep, and gear (examples: 'What to Pack for EMT School,' 'How to Pass EMT Class,' 'Best Stethoscope for EMTs').
  • Follow SEO keyword strategy and optimize content for ranking (headlines, subheaders, metadata, internal links).
  • Collaborate with SEO lead to build pillar content and supporting blog clusters.
  • Ensure content tone is professional, clear, and supportive of EMS students.

Social Media Management

  • Create and schedule posts daily across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X.
  • Turn blog content into engaging short-form videos, graphics, or carousels.
  • Write captions that connect with EMS students and highlight MedTech's kits, tools, and promises.
  • Track engagement metrics and adjust content to grow reach and community.

Collaboration & Branding

  • Work closely with SEO lead, marketing team, and ops team to align content with quarterly goals.
  • Maintain consistency with MedTech's voice: approachable, professional, focused on helping students succeed.
  • Support campaign launches (website refresh, EMT Directory, Training Monitor app) with aligned content.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in content writing, blogging, or journalism.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices (headlines, on-page optimization, keyword usage).
  • Experience creating content for social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn).
  • Strong writing skills; ability to simplify technical topics into clear, student-friendly language.
  • Bonus: background in healthcare, EMS, or higher-ed marketing.

  • MedTech's blog produces consistent weekly content that ranks for key EMT student searches.
  • Our social channels show growth in engagement and student community following.
  • Content is aligned across retail, wholesale, and SEO strategy—building MedTech's authority as the place students start, prepare, and succeed in EMS.

Job Type: Full-time
