As the Electrical Engineer of Monitor Health International Pvt. Ltd, you will support and maintain electrical systems and automation processes in our syringe manufacturing plant. You will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with medical device standards, improving equipment reliability, and supporting continuous manufacturing operations. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in Electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance programs, and adherence to regulatory standards. You will play a critical role in minimizing downtime, optimizing equipment efficiency, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

Electrical System Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

  1. Maintain, diagnose, and repair electrical and control systems for syringe production equipment (e.g., injection molding machines, assembly lines, sterilizers, packaging lines).
  2. Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, drives, sensors, actuators, and industrial networks (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus).

Automation & Process Improvement:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve automation, reduce downtime, and increase process efficiency.
  2. Program and optimize PLCs and control systems for manufacturing equipment.

Project Engineering & Equipment Installation:

  1. Lead or support projects related to installation, upgrade, or validation of electrical and automation systems.
  2. Ensure integration of new equipment meets regulatory, safety, and performance standards.

Compliance & Documentation:

  1. Ensure all electrical work complies with local codes, GMP, and ISO 13485 requirements.
  2. Maintain and update electrical schematics, validation protocols, preventive maintenance records, and change controls.

Preventive & Predictive Maintenance:

  1. Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans for electrical systems and control panels.
  2. Utilize predictive tools like thermal imaging and electrical testing to anticipate equipment failures.

Safety & Risk Management:

  1. Conduct risk assessments (e.g., FMEA) and ensure electrical systems are safe and compliant.
  2. Support EHS initiatives and participate in audits and inspections.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
  2. 3+ years of relevant experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment; experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
  3. Strong knowledge of PLC programming and industrial automation.
  4. Familiarity with FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and GMP practices.
  5. Experience with cleanroom environments and validated systems is a plus.
  6. Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  1. Experience with validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) in regulated environments.
  2. Knowledge of injection molding and assembly line automation.
  3. Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical design.
  4. Familiarity with Cleanroom, data acquisition, and Industry 4.0 concepts.

Working Conditions

  1. Cleanroom and manufacturing floor environment.
  2. Must be able to wear appropriate PPE and follow cleanroom protocols.
  3. May require occasional off-shift or weekend work for shutdowns or urgent repairs.
