Main Aims:

The platform must be scalable, multilingual, and equipped with advanced filtering and search capabilities for products, brands, vendors, and categories.

For that, we are seeking a skilled Full Stack WordPress Developer with hands-on experience in WooCommerce multivendor systems, performance optimization, multilingual website development (WPML or Polylang), and advanced product filtering systems.

Development responsibilities:

Lead full-cycle WordPress development (front-end + back-end) where you, 

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites to improve functionality and design, and 

Customize and extend the Dokan Pro multivendor marketplace functionality

E-commerce Features

Develop and integrate advanced filtering options (by vendor, brand, category, attributes)

Implement and optimize multivendor marketplace features

Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways as needed

Multilingual & Compliance

Implement multilingual support for European markets (English, German, French, etc.)

Ensure data security and compliance with EU standards (GDPR)

Performance & Optimization

Optimize website speed, performance, and scalability for high traffic

Implement SEO best practices

UI/UX Implementation

Implement responsive web designs with excellent UI/UX

Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility

Technical Integration

Build and maintain RESTful APIs and back-end services

Develop and integrate custom plugins and tools

Work with external APIs and services

Collaboration & Maintenance

Collaborate with designers, testers, and content managers

Troubleshoot issues, perform updates, and provide technical support

Stay current with web development trends and best practices

Required Skills:

Technical

• Proven experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, and Dokan (Pro)
• Strong PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (React/Vanilla), and jQuery knowledge
• Experience building or customizing WooCommerce filtering systems

(e.g., by brand, category, vendor)
- Familiarity with WPML, Polylang, or TranslatePress for multilingual websites
- REST API development and integration experience
- Experience with AJAX search and filtering, custom taxonomies, and post types
- Experience with custom plugin/theme development
- Git/version control experience

Bonus

• Familiarity with Europe-based e-commerce regulations
• Experience with SEO optimization (technical + on-page)
• Knowledge of marketplace analytics and reporting tools
• Elementor or Gutenberg experience (optional but nice to have)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Minimum 3+ years of WordPress development experience, including WooCommerce customization
• At least 1+ year of experience working with Dokan or similar multivendor platforms
• Demonstrated experience in developing and managing multilingual websites
• Strong portfolio of B2B or marketplace projects (must be shared in application)
