About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented
Video Editor
to join our team. The ideal candidate is proficient in
Canva
and
CapCut
, with a strong ability to transform original video scripts into compelling content. This role requires editing videos for multiple platforms, adding engaging captions, and localizing content by translating or adapting captions into
different languages
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and produce high-quality videos using
    Canva
    and
    CapCut
    for social media, ads, and other digital platforms.
  • Transform raw footage into engaging, polished content aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Add dynamic captions, subtitles, and on-screen text for better engagement.
  • Localize content
    by editing captions and scripts into multiple languages while maintaining accuracy and cultural relevance.
  • Collaborate with the content and marketing team to ensure videos align with campaign goals and storytelling.
  • Optimize videos for various formats (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
  • Stay updated on the latest video trends and editing techniques for social media.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a
    Video Editor
    , with a portfolio showcasing Canva and CapCut projects.
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and transitions.
  • Ability to
    edit captions/scripts into other languages
    (basic translation or working with provided translations).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and their video specifications.
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and time-management skills.
  • Basic knowledge of color grading, sound mixing, and motion graphics is a plus.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with
    multi-language content creation

  • Familiarity with trending short-form video styles (Reels, TikTok).
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
