Powered by a modern micro services architecture and Angular frontend, the platform is being advanced by a dedicated, remote team of eight professionals. To further strengthen its capabilities, the company is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Engineer to contribute to the platform's core backend development.

As a Senior .NET Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and improving the backend services that power our logistics platform. Working closely with a dedicated team, you will ensure that our systems are secure, scalable, and high-performing. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, reliable, and eager to make a real impact in a product-focused environment.

Location: Remote (team partly in Pakistan, company based in Germany)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM CEST

Employment Type: Full-time (Freelance Agreement)

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: Competitive, paid in PKR

Required Experience: 5+ years (hands-on, project-based)

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET Core / .NET 6+.
  • Build reliable APIs to support seamless integration with the Angular frontend.
  • Ensure performance, scalability, and security of backend systems.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making.
  • Collaborate with teammates on code reviews, debugging, and solution design.
  • Support containerized environments and CI/CD pipelines (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Write and maintain clear documentation for processes and solutions.

  • 5+ years of professional experience with .NET / .NET Core backend development.

  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
  • Experience with REST APIs, Entity Framework, LINQ, and SQL (SQL Server or PostgreSQL).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and containerization tools.
  • Experience with messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of software design principles (SOLID, DDD, Clean Architecture).
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Ability to take ownership, mentor junior developers, and thrive in a small, agile, and fast-paced team environment.
