What You'll Bring (The Requirements):

  • Accelerated Experience: 3–4 years of professional experience in software development, demonstrating rapid career progression and outsized technical contributions in past roles.
  • Deep Backend Proficiency: Expert-level command of at least one major backend language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, ) and modern frameworks.
  • Distributed Systems Expertise: Proven experience designing and operating high-volume, low-latency distributed systems using microservices or service-oriented architectures (SOA).
  • Database Mastery: Deep knowledge of relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra), including complex query optimization, indexing, and data modeling for scale.
  • Cloud Fluency: Extensive experience with major cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, and influence decisions across teams.
  • Bonus Points: Experience with event streaming platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ), caching technologies (Redis, Memcached), or significant contributions to open-source projects.
