Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the maintenance and management of all equipment used in the department in coordination with the Biomedical Engineering department, including to handle preventive and corrective maintenance, manage inventory, and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure equipment are functional and calibrated.  You will also be responsible to:

  • maintain and oversee the inventory of equipment used in the department, while ensuring that all items are accounted for, are in good working condition and timely calibrated
  • ensure timely preventive maintenance and address any complaints related to all types of equipment including handling repair and service requests efficiently
  • identify the need for new equipment and raise requisitions for equipment purchase to ensure that inventory is adequate and covers future needs
  • conduct daily review of all types of equipment to verify their condition and smooth functioning as well as carry out periodic audits for equipment inventory check
  • coordinate with the concerned departments for repair of existing equipment and procurement of new ones
  • ensure timely installation and replacement of equipment in collaboration with the relevant departments
  • oversee the installation of IT equipment and coordinate with relevant departments for timely procurement and replacement.
