Role Purpose

Own and evolve the creative direction of across all digital and print touchpoints — web, social, email, and our digital magazine The Sunaar. You will create premium, conversion-driven visuals that uphold our 22ct brand identity while keeping the brand's visual presence up to date with evolving market trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design engaging visuals for daily and weekly requirements: web banners, promotional tiles, PDP infographics, email hero images, packaging, and print materials.
  • Produce compelling social templates (posts, stories, and reels) for marketing campaigns and seasonal events such as Ramadan, Eid, Diwali, and Mother's Day.
  • Maintain and evolve the brand's design system, ensuring consistency in type, spacing, grid, and colour hierarchy.
  • Retouch product images — including colour correction, enhancement, and grading — and prepare them for e-commerce display, ensuring every visual reflects premium quality and authenticity.
  • Work closely with the Photography and SEO teams to ensure imagery aligns with brand standards and supports product conversion goals.
  • Create editorial layouts for The Sunaar digital magazine (A4/interactive) with a focus on luxury presentation and visual storytelling.
  • Develop creative assets for partner stores within the A1J Marketplace, exhibitions, and co-branded materials.
  • Keep the brand visuals contemporary by monitoring market trends and ensuring alignment with industry-leading aesthetics.
  • Manage all visual assets in an organised, structured, and easily retrievable library.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Must hold at least a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Media Production, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years as a Graphic Designer in a D2C or e-commerce environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
  • Expertise in photo retouching, colour grading, and e-commerce image preparation.
  • Proven ability to design high-performing marketing visuals that balance aesthetic appeal with conversion effectiveness.
  • Understanding of responsive, accessible design and grid discipline.

Desirable Skills

  • Basic motion design skills (After Effects).
  • Experience in the jewellery, fashion, or luxury retail sector.
  • Familiarity with photography workflow and visual content curation.

Success Metrics (First 90 Days)

  • 100% brand-aligned visual delivery across all platforms.
  • +15–25% increase in CTR for digital campaigns vs previous benchmarks.
  • Updated, on-trend creative identity reflecting evolving consumer and industry design directions.
