Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Peon/Office Boy to join our team at our office. This individual will be responsible for providing support to our administrative staff, ensuring the efficient operation of the office, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting visitors and directing them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Monitoring and maintaining office supplies inventory and placing orders when necessary.
  • Making arrangements for meetings, conferences, and events, including setting up conference rooms and preparing tea for staff/clients.
  • Performing general office errands, such as purchasing office supplies, groceries, and other items as requested.
  • Ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the office premises, including common areas, restrooms, and kitchenette.
  • Assisting with basic office maintenance tasks, such as light cleaning, replacing light bulbs, and arranging furniture.
  • Adhering to safety and security procedures, including monitoring access to the premises, and reporting any suspicious activities or incidents.
  • Providing support to colleagues as always needed and maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Office Boy or similar role.
  • Basic knowledge of office equipment and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that may require lifting and carrying.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with safety and security protocols is a plus.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
