Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Purchaser in Pak Red Crescent Medical and Dental College / Teaching Hospital Lahore. The Assistant Purchaser will assist in managing procurement processes, ensuring cost efficiency and timeliness. Responsibilities include maintaining inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers, generating purchase orders, and liaising with internal departments for procurement needs. Additionally, the role involves ensuring compliance with organizational policies and documenting procurement activities.

Qualifications

  • Procurement and inventory management skills with experience in generating purchase requests and tracking orders
  • Proficiency in supplier relationship management and negotiating favorable purchase terms
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills to handle supply chain and data analysis efficiently
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, procurement software, and standard office software tools
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role is preferred
