Role Description

This is a paid internship role for a Shopify Custom Theme Developer. The intern will be responsible for developing and customizing Shopify themes, identifying and fixing issues, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, and optimizing theme performance. Additionally, the intern will collaborate with the development team, adhere to project timelines, and participate in code reviews. This is a remote role.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Shopify theme development and customization
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid templating language
  • Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a remote development team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of Git version control system
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
