Position Overview:

J7 Global is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to oversee and manage all electrical systems and smart automation integrations for a five-star hotel project currently under construction. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Building Management Systems (BMS), Property Management Systems (PMS), and Guest Room Management Systems (GRMS), ensuring that all electrical and control systems are designed, installed, and commissioned to high standards of quality, efficiency, and reliability. The role involves close coordination with consultants, contractors, and technology vendors to ensure compliance with international hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve electrical and ELV designs, shop drawings, and technical submittals
  • Ensure integration of BMS, PMS, GRMS with HVAC, lighting, fire alarm, access control, etc.
  • Lead coordination between consultants, contractors, and technology vendors
  • Supervise installation, QA/QC inspections, commissioning, and system interoperability
  • Oversee testing, documentation, as-built drawings, and handover to hotel operations
  • Evaluate BOQs, vendor proposals, and support procurement with technical selection (Schneider, Siemens, Honeywell, ABB, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, international hotel standards, and energy efficiency guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of experience, including 5+ years in five-star hotel or high-rise mixed-use projects
  • Proven expertise in BMS, PMS, GRMS, and ELV systems
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, and international standards (IEC, IEEE, NFPA, ASHRAE)
  • Experience coordinating with global hotel brands (Radisson, Marriott, Hilton, etc.)
