Job Description:

We are seeking a
Senior Laravel PHP Developer

to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development skills, hands-on experience with REST API development, and the ability to design efficient databases. You will work on building scalable backend systems, integrating third-party services, and ensuring high performance and security of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain
    RESTful APIs

using
Laravel PHP Framework

.

  • Design and optimize relational database schemas (MySQL/PostgreSQL).

  • Implement and integrate
    third-party services

such as:

  • Payment Gateways

(Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, etc.)

  • Push Notifications

(Firebase, OneSignal, etc.)

  • Calling/Communication APIs

(Twilio, Agora, etc.)

  • Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code with proper documentation.

  • Ensure backend systems are
    secure, scalable, and high-performing

.

  • Collaborate with frontend/mobile developers to integrate APIs seamlessly.

  • Perform code reviews, debugging, and optimization.

  • Manage server-side logic and ensure smooth deployment workflows.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years

of professional experience in PHP development with a focus on
Laravel

.

  • Strong knowledge of
    REST API architecture

and
best practices

.

  • Proficiency in
    MySQL

or
PostgreSQL

database design and query optimization.

  • Experience with
    third-party integrations

(payment, notifications, communication).

  • Familiarity with
    authentication & authorization mechanisms

(JWT, OAuth, Sanctum, Passport).

  • Understanding of
    queue systems

(Redis, RabbitMQ, etc.) for background jobs.

  • Experience with
    version control systems

(Git).

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with
    microservices architecture

  • Familiarity with
    Docker / containerized deployments

.

  • Knowledge of
    cloud platforms

(AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.).

  • Experience with
    CI/CD pipelines
