We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (SSE) with strong expertise in the MERN stack and ElectronJS to design, build, and optimize scalable web and desktop applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about full-stack development, has hands-on experience with ElectronJS for cross-platform desktop applications, and is eager to mentor others while driving technical excellence.

Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and deployment of applications using MERN stack and ElectronJS.

Build scalable, secure, and high-performing web and desktop solutions.

Architect modular, reusable, and maintainable codebases.

Integrate third-party APIs, services, and tools into existing systems.

Exposure to AI/ML platforms to design, build, and optimize scalable web and desktop applications

Collaborate with Product, Design, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship, and guide junior engineers.

Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance performance across applications.

Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

4+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.

Proven expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB, , , ).

Strong hands-on experience with ElectronJS for cross-platform desktop application development.

Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks.

Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and microservices architecture.

Experience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX, or similar).

Strong knowledge of database design, indexing, and optimization (MongoDB/SQL).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and containerized deployments.

Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing tools.

Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work in agile teams.

Nice to Have

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Exposure to desktop application distribution & auto-updates with ElectronJS.

Familiarity with security best practices for web and desktop apps.

Knowledge of GraphQL and real-time data streaming.
