Embedded Systems Engineer (with Embedded Cryptography)

About NRTC:

National Radio & Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC) designs and builds secure, mission-critical electronics and communication systems. We're expanding our embedded engineering team with specialists who can design robust firmware and implement embedded cryptography for secure products.

The Role:

You'll design, develop, and test embedded firmware for MCU/FPGA-based systems, and build end-to-end security features: secure boot, key management, encrypted storage, and secure communications.

What you'll do:

• Design and implement firmware in C/C++ on ARM Cortex-M/A and similar MCUs.
• STM32 MCU, STM32CubeIDE.
• Embedded Linux
• Integrate crypto primitives (AES/GCM/CCM, SHA-2/3, HMAC, ECC/RSA) using software libraries and/or hardware accelerators.
• Build secure boot & OTA update flows (image signing, verification, rollback protection).
• Implement mTLS/DTLS/TLS and device authentication (X.509, PKI, certificate lifecycle).
• Bring-up boards; debug over SWD/JTAG, logic analyzer, oscilloscope.
• Interface with SPI/I²C/UART/CAN/USB/Ethernet, sensors, radios, and storage.
• Use GitHub daily: feature branches, Pull Requests, code reviews, Issues/Projects, GitHub Actions CI (build, unit tests, static analysis), semantic versioning and signed/annotated tags for firmware releases.
• Document designs, write tests, participate in threat modeling and code reviews.

Must-have qualifications :

BS/MS in Electrical/Computer/Embedded Systems (or related). Experience will be preferred.
