Job Description:
To support the Sales in the completion and management of the tender process, ensuring our strategy to win the business is clearly articulated in a professional manner. An Ideal Candidate must have an academic background in creative writing, content writer, bid writer with a keen interest in developing a career within this field of bid writing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and develop compelling tender responses for PQQs and ITTs
- Support team members in completing tender questions to high standards
- Follow the Companies Bid Process
- Find tender opportunities, source documents and read to create breakdowns to share with your team
- Be able to work on portals and co-ordinate the progress of your bid with your team
- To help in the achievement of the sales target through quality submissions which improve our conversion ratio from submission to success
- Produce quality, error-free documents that reflect the company's professional standards.
- To develop an effective library of information and liaise with other departments to keep this updated
- To write and develop content for tender responses which are bespoke to the target market and involves creative writing
- To work with BDMs to create marketing activity to fit within guidelines e.g. invites for events and case studies
- Set and achieve tender deadlines by diary management Ensure all stakeholders receive regular feedback and advance notice of upcoming activity
- Be up to date with our prospects and competition to ensure responses are bespoke and deliver our strategy clearly
- Deliver on time bespoke documents, editing all content received from the business
- Responsibility of compiling and distributing bids within the team
- Keep up to date with group business ventures and services, competitors, relationships with customers, clients and suppliers, market evolution
- Help identify additional opportunity by getting to know client requirements
- Achieve deadlines by motivating others to send content for tenders
- Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen our network
- Consistently promote a professional image of the company in all communications
Performance Targets:
- 5 quality tenders including PQQs to be submitted per month
- Follow up and debrief evaluation on a monthly basis with action plan
Salary Package:
- Compensation Package:
- Base Salary: PKR 80,000 per month
- KPI Bonus: PKR 20,000 for achieving 5 tender submissions in a month
- Commission: PKR 100,000 for each successful tender win, plus PKR 20,000 for every smaller, low-value direct contract secured
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (creative or bid writing background preferred)
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in the UK, US, or Canadian markets
- Prior experience in the facilities management industry or with UK-based FM clients is a strong advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills must confidently interact with UK-based clients in a professional manner
- Strong interpersonal and soft skills; must be organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with tendering portals (e.g. Proactis, In-Tend, Contracts Finder) is preferred
- Experience with project tracking tools (e.g. Trello, Asana) and document management platforms (e.g. SharePoint, Google Drive) is a plus
