Cloud Migration

We are seeking a Cloud Migration & AI Engineer with 2-3 years of hands-on experience to support our critical AWS to GCP migration and contribute to the development of our AI/LLM data pipeline. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who is passionate about cloud technologies, containerization, and automation. You will work closely with our senior architects and data scientists to ensure a seamless migration and build scalable, efficient AI solutions on GCP.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain deep expertise in two major cloud platforms and work on state-of-the-art AI projects.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Migration & Infrastructure (AWS to GCP):

• Assist in assessing and planning the migration of containerized applications and data from AWS to GCP.
• Execute the migration of applications deployed on Kubernetes (EKS to GKE) and containerized using Docker.
• Manage and deploy applications using Helm charts across development, staging, and production environments.
• Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, Jenkins) to automate the build, test, and deployment process.
• Help refactor and re-platform applications to leverage native GCP services.
• Participate in troubleshooting and optimizing systems post-migration.

AI & LLM Engineering:

• Support the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for AI model training and deployment using Vertex AI.
• Containerize AI/LLM inference applications using Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes (GKE).
• Collaborate with data scientists to package and deploy machine learning models, ensuring reproducibility and scalability.
• Manage and optimize vector databases for LLM applications, integrating them into our Kubernetes infrastructure.

Qualifications & Required Skills

Must-Haves (Non-Negotiable):

• 2-3 years of direct, hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Professional Cloud Data Engineer certification on GCP is required.
• Solid, practical understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Proven, hands-on experience with the following is mandatory:
• Kubernetes (k8s): Must have experience deploying and managing applications on GKE or EKS.
• Docker: Must be proficient in building, containerizing, and managing Docker images.
• Helm Charts: Must have experience creating, managing, and deploying applications using Helm.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Must have hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Cloud Build.
• GitHub: Must have strong proficiency with Git and GitHub for source code management and collaboration.
• Demonstrable experience participating in at least one cloud migration project (AWS to GCP is a strong plus).
• Understanding of data engineering concepts and experience with GCP data services: BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub.
• Familiarity with the Machine Learning lifecycle and hands-on experience with Vertex AI.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with MLOps principles and tools (e.g., Kubeflow).
• Familiarity with LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Cloud Monitoring.
