Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing video content to align with creative and strategic goals. This includes creating scroll-stopping reels and long-form YouTube edits, incorporating feedback from clients, and ensuring the final product meets high-quality standards. The Video Editor will also collaborate with the content creation team and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects
  • Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual elements to create engaging content
  • Experience with color correction, sound design, and motion graphics
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality edits under tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members and clients remotely
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and YouTube's video guidelines and best practices
  • Ability to adapt to changing project scopes and feedback
  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field is a plus
