To strengthen our language department, we are hiring qualified and motivated German Language Tutors to conduct in-person and online language training sessions for students planning to study, work, or migrate to Germany.

Position Overview

The German Language Tutor will be responsible for teaching and preparing students for German language proficiency exams such as A1, A2, B1, and B2 levels, following the standards set by the Goethe-Institut.

The ideal candidate must have strong communication and teaching skills, a passion for language education, and the ability to adapt lessons for different learning levels. Experience with online and classroom-based teaching methods is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach German language courses (A1–B2 levels) to students preparing for study, work, or immigration to Germany.
• Design and implement interactive lesson plans focused on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
• Prepare students for Goethe / TELC / TestDaF exams and other recognized German proficiency tests.
• Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and class participation.
• Provide individual and group feedback to ensure steady improvement in language fluency.
• Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment during all classes.
• Create and use multimedia teaching aids and online tools for enhanced learning.
• Collaborate with the academic and counseling teams to align student language training with their overseas application goals.
• Maintain attendance and performance records of all students.
• Participate in periodic training sessions, workshops, and faculty meetings.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferably in German Language, Linguistics, or Education).
• Goethe-Institut Certification (minimum B2 or C1 level) is mandatory.
• Proven experience in teaching German (minimum 1–2 years preferred).
• Excellent command of both German and English languages.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to teach both in-person and online classes effectively.
• Familiarity with German culture, education system, and examination formats.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a student-centered teaching approach.
