Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Karachi. The 
Microbiologist
 will be responsible for conducting microbiological analyses and tests on seafood products to ensure they meet all quality and safety standards.

Daily responsibilities include:

  • Performing microbiological testing and analysis of seafood samples
  • Monitoring laboratory results and maintaining accurate records
  • Calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment
  • Implementing and verifying quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with national and international food safety standards
  • Collaborating closely with the Quality Control team to maintain the highest standards of product freshness and safety

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment handling
  • Strong background in Microbiology
  • Experience in Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in the seafood or food industry is an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in
