The Sr. HR Generalist will support the daily operations of the Human Resources functions and duties. This role will carry out responsibilities in various HR areas such as employee relations, recruitment, performance management, training & development, benefits administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple tasks and foster a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer recruitment processes including job postings, screening resumes, interviewing candidates, and onboarding new hires.
Support employee relations by addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and maintaining a positive work environment.
Manage employee records and ensure compliance with legal and company policies.
Coordinate performance review processes, assist managers with performance improvement plans, and track employee development.
Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with benefits-related questions.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR best practices; stay updated with changes in regulations.
Assist with HR projects such as employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and policy updates.
Maintain HRIS and prepare reports related to HR metrics and activities.
Facilitate training sessions and support learning and development initiatives.
Support payroll processing and liaise with payroll providers if needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
4-6 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
Experience in HR, Operations and Employee Engagement in BPO and Call centers.
