We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical abilities and a commitment to maintaining high standards of laboratory operations.
Position Overview: As a Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting various laboratory tests and procedures while ensuring accuracy and compliance with established protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive laboratory tests, experiments, and procedures in accordance with established protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Handle laboratory equipment maintenance and calibration to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct phlebotomy procedures with precision and patient care
- Manage and maintain laboratory supplies and inventory
- Document and maintain accurate records of test results and procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree or Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) Degree preferred
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience in a laboratory setting
- Strong understanding of laboratory procedures and protocols
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in operating laboratory equipment and instruments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of safety protocols and quality control procedures
- Laboratory setting workplace, may require rotating shifts.
