Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supervisor - Internal Audit with CA, ACCA, or CMA qualifications to join our dynamic team in the telecommunications industry. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls, risk management processes, and governance practices. This position requires a detailed-oriented professional who can oversee the internal audit activities, leading a team of auditors while maintaining a strong focus on the improvement of operational efficiency and compliance with relevant regulations. The Supervisor will be responsible for developing audit plans, conducting thorough evaluations of financial and operational processes, and presenting actionable insights to senior management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to fostering an environment of transparency and accountability. By contributing to our internal audit function, the Supervisor will help enhance our organizational integrity, safeguard assets, and facilitate the achievement of our strategic objectives in the rapidly evolving telecommunications landscape.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the internal audit team, providing guidance and support throughout the audit process.
  • Develop and implement risk-based audit plans aligned with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive audits of financial and operational processes to assess the effectiveness of controls and compliance with policies.
  • Analyze audit findings, identify trends, and prepare detailed reports summarizing results and recommendations for management.
  • Facilitate discussions with department heads to address audit findings and develop corrective action plans.
  • Monitor the implementation of corrective actions to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, best practices, and emerging trends in internal auditing to enhance audit methodologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA, ACCA, or CMA certification is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 5 years of internal audit experience, preferably in the telecommunications industry or a closely related field.
  • Strong understanding of internal auditing standards, regulations, and risk management practices.
  • Proven experience in leading audit teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in managing sensitive information.
