About the Role:

We are looking for a React Native Developer to join our product development team in Karachi. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building cross-platform mobile applications that are performant, scalable, and user-friendly. You'll work closely with our backend, product, and UI/UX teams to deliver secure, seamless mobile experiences for our fintech products including digital wallets, merchant apps, and financial service platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain high-quality React Native applications for iOS and Android.
  • Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to implement pixel-perfect UI and API integrations.
  • Ensure mobile applications are secure, optimized, and scalable.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following industry best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug performance or functional issues across platforms.
  • Participate in code reviews and team discussions to improve development standards.
  • Keep up-to-date with new trends and technologies in mobile app development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience developing mobile applications using React Native.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
  • Experience with React Hooks, Redux / Zustand / Context API, or similar state management tools.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and backend integrations.
  • Experience in deploying apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of native Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift/Objective-C) development.
  • Experience with Firebase, App Center, Push Notifications, or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exposure to payment systems, digital wallets, or fintech products.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
