We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Internal Audit Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a B.Com qualification and at least 2 years of relevant experience in internal audit, accounts, or finance. The role involves evaluating internal processes, ensuring compliance with policies, and identifying areas for improvement to enhance operational efficiency and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal audits of financial and operational processes.
  • Review and verify accounting records, documents, and reports.
  • Identify control gaps and recommend process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare audit reports with clear findings, recommendations, and action plans.
  • Support management in implementing audit recommendations.
  • Maintain proper documentation and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Assist in risk assessment and development of internal control frameworks.
  • Collaborate with finance and other departments to improve overall transparency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in internal audit, accounting, or finance.
  • Strong knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and internal controls.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting/audit software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems.
  • Understanding of risk management frameworks.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
