.) and is a UK market leader established in 1993, providing EPoS and Payment solutions. This includes cashless catering via

, customer present and online payment solutions. Clients include Motorway Services, Universities (including many Colleges from the University of Oxford and University of Cambridge, and King's and Imperial Colleges London), Financial Service Companies and Banks, Law firms and many other Blue-Chip businesses across the UK. Uniware Systems works with all business types in the catering and retail sectors, and services clients through re-sellers in Ireland & Malaysia.

The Position:

We are seeking to hire a Senior Full Stack Developer with a strong front-end mindset and a sharp eye for UI/UX. Most of the work will involve crafting responsive, intuitive web interfaces using Vanilla JS, HTML, and CSS. While the main focus will be on the front-end, contribution to our backend stack in .NET (WebForms 4.8 and MVC) is also involved.

Working closely with the Uniware Systems R&D team in the UK to help ensure high quality and timely delivery of releases. This is an exciting time to join the company as it plans to grow its product offering into the UK marketplace and as a result a new team of developers and testers are being recruited to meet this growth. You will also need the ability to work in a local independent team or as part of a co-located team with other UK based team members. The successful hire will be located and work out of the Contour Software Islamabad office, working as part of the resource-center team, as an extension of the division-based R&D department in the UK.

Job Responsibilities:

• Hands-on development in an agile environment

• Build and refine web UIs with a focus on usability and performance.

• Work closely with product teams to create elegant user experiences.

• Maintain and enhance projects in .NET WebForms 4.8 and .NET MVC.

• Learn and work with ReactJS as needed.

• Participate in discussions around UX best practices and continuous UI improvement.

• Identify impact of possible implementation options

• Create and maintain unit tests

• Test and review code for technical accuracy, standards, and functional compliance to the design

• Performance improvement and refactoring of legacy code

• Work within deadlines in relation to product release timelines, and consistently complete assigned development tasks in required timeframes

• Create and defend estimates and help the team do the same

• Follow and contribute to software development processes and standards

• To share knowledge and skills with others.

• Highlight task level issues and risks as appropriate and assist in finding solutions.

• Coaching and mentoring other members of the team.

Job Qualifications:

Essential:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in software application development

• Software engineering-related degree

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming

• Solid experience with:

• Vanilla JavaScript

• HTML5, CSS3 (plus LESS/SCSS)

• .NET Framework, .NET WebForms and/or .NET MVC

• C#

Nice to Have:

• Agile/Scrum development process exposure

• ReactJS and/or TypeScript

• Hybrid app development (Cordova, Ionic)

• Experience or interest in PWAs or MAUI

• SQL Server

• Familiarity with Swagger/NSwag
