We are looking for a skilled
Senior Android Developer
to join our Lahore-based development team. This role is ideal for an experienced developer passionate about creating efficient, scalable Android applications—particularly those that integrate with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) medical devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform using
    Kotlin
  • Integrate and manage communication with
    BLE-enabled medical devices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Maintain code quality, performance, and responsiveness
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
  • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Work closely with the UK-based product and QA teams for regular updates and deployments
  • Ensure app compliance with healthcare data security standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of professional Android development experience
  • Strong command of
    Kotlin
    and Android SDK
  • Proven experience working with
    Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
    APIs and device communication
  • Familiarity with MVVM architecture and Android Jetpack components
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
  • Solid understanding of mobile app lifecycle, performance tuning, and memory management
  • Git version control experience
  • Ability to write unit and instrumentation tests

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with medical or IoT devices
  • Familiarity with Firebase, Room, or Retrofit
  • Understanding of privacy and security regulations in health tech
