We're Hiring: Associate SQA Engineer (Onsite – Okara, Pakistan)

About the Role

Fantech Labs
is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Associate SQA Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for fresh graduates or early-career professionals to build a strong foundation in software quality assurance. In this role, you'll collaborate with developers and senior QA engineers to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and usability.

Success in this position means being curious, meticulous, and eager to learn. You'll play an important part in maintaining product excellence, which directly supports our mission of delivering innovative solutions to global challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Write, review, and execute test cases and test plans.
  • Identify, report, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure complete test coverage.
  • Perform functional, regression, and usability testing on web and mobile apps.
  • Participate in daily standups and sprint planning.
  • Maintain testing documentation and quality metrics.
  • Learn and apply QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC.
  • Familiarity with test case writing and execution.
  • Knowledge of defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with good communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Postman, etc.).
  • Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger).
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.

Who Should Apply
