Kashif Iqbal Thalassaemia Care Centre (KITCC) is one of Pakistan's leading nonprofit organizations, dedicated to providing free and lifelong treatment to children suffering from thalassaemia. Our services include blood transfusions, advanced laboratory testing, chelation therapy, awareness programs, and preventive initiatives.

At KITCC, we don't just treat patients—we also educate communities, raise awareness, and inspire donors to come forward and save lives. Our mission is clear: to achieve a Thalassaemia-Free Pakistan.

To strengthen our communication and outreach, we are urgently seeking a talented Content Writer who is also skilled in Copywriting, Proofreading, and SEO. This role is ideal for someone who loves storytelling, creative writing, and impactful communication that can move people to action.

Role & Responsibilities:

As part of our communications and media team, you will:

  • Content Writing: Produce high-quality, engaging, and meaningful content for websites, blogs, newsletters, awareness articles, patient stories, press releases, and donor communications.
  • Copywriting: Write compelling social media posts, campaign taglines, ad copy, captions, and fundraising appeals that grab attention and connect emotionally.
  • Proofreading & Editing: Review, refine, and edit all written content for clarity, grammar, accuracy, and brand consistency.
  • SEO & Digital Growth: Optimize all web and social media content with relevant keywords, meta descriptions, and SEO strategies to increase KITCC's online visibility.
  • Research & Strategy: Stay up-to-date with trends in healthcare, nonprofit storytelling, and digital content strategies to ensure KITCC's messaging remains innovative and impactful.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our design, video, and social media teams to develop integrated awareness campaigns.

Candidate Requirements:

We are looking for a self-motivated and creative individual who meets the following criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in content writing, copywriting, or digital marketing.
  • Strong command of English writing, editing, and proofreading (Urdu writing skills are a plus).
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO practices (on-page & off-page).
  • Ability to adapt writing styles for different audiences (short captions, detailed articles, storytelling).
  • Excellent research skills with the ability to translate complex information into easy-to-understand content.
  • Passionate about social impact, awareness campaigns, and healthcare advocacy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
